Which is worse: Rush Limbaugh, or the many ‘El Rushbo’ wannabes?

The former has clout. It’s not just that he spews stuff, but that people quote what he spews as though it was a pronouncement from authority. And over time that authority has calcified, and now actual politicians have to apologize for contradicting him. He’s been given actual influence.
