I saw some of the comments at ESPN were going off about ESPN showing Sam and his partner receiving the call from the RAMS. They were saying they didn’t want their kids seeing that two guys kissing stuff, and holding and hugging, etc.

Of course I find that strange in a way. How many kids watch the very very end of the 7th round of the NFL draft???

I figure the guys complaining were probably having the problems. If any young kids were around they probably didn’t really care.

I did have ESPN on when it was coming to the end as I was just waiting for them do to a review of the days rounds. Right before Sam got the pick, ESPN was already heading for “If Michael Sam Doesn’t Get Drafted, What Does it All Mean(?)” mode. They were then launching into names of other players that made it in the NFL as never-drafted free agents.

They were prepared to turn the story what ever way it went. Ahhh…modern media. ESPN is a machine.
