Oh, I know. There’s significant popular support behind Occupy Central, even among people who are not out on the streets. But those who intend to occupy government buildings are putting themselves at great risk. The leaders of HK are as scared of the protests as Beijing is. HK has always been run by the 1%, and they are not going to relinquish one bit of that control without a fight.
