As I was leaving today, he asked me again to reconsider taking some of my guns home with me…especially my .44-40, as it’s lever action and the safest gun a person can have (seriously…you can’t accidentally shoot yourself until you put a round in the chamber). Anyway, his reasoning? In the next few years we’re going to have race riots. Race riots. Ugh.

Damn, that’s some unfortunate noise. Kind of the same thing happened a week or two ago with my pops during a phone conversation. We were talking politics and Hillary came up. We got into a screaming match, he asked “Are you gonna vote for Hillary?!?” I said ‘maybe.’ He hung up on me.
