Grab and go is also safer for you and your colleagues and customers - fewer touches, and less chance for contamination. But this is grim.
Depends upon the set-up. We already have a continental breakfast here and despite the prominent sets of tongs everywhere, the guests still insist on reaching their dirty fingers into the cases and feeling around to grab the food. Once witnesses a dickwad, right in front of me (an employee) reach in and grab a couple of hard-boiled eggs one morning with his fingers.
There’s a reason I’ve sworn off ever eating anything from the breakfast room.
