It took my parents closer to 30 years to pay off the house. Just sayin’.

My parents bough their home with the WW2 VA home loan program in 1946. In 1976 they “burned the mortgage” after making 360 monthly payments. They lived in that house until my Dad died and my Mom could no longer maintain it.

Lots of good memories in that home.
