Clearly you don’t know much about Perry. He is in it to win. He wouldn’t have entered the race if he didn’t think he had a real good chance to win. He would NEVER throw his support to Bachmann (or anyone with a vagina for that matter). This man is above all else a narcissist.

He knows that he has a message that will sell. A simple formula: low taxes + lax regulation = jobs, jobs, jobs.

This goes over well in sound-byte, bullet-point form, and fits neatly into a 30-second TV spot with amber waves of grain, purple mountain majesties and stirring music swelling in the background.

It is irrelevant as to whether this assertion is backed up by any close analysis of the facts. You see, in order to analyze his claims you need whole sentences, even paragraphs to make a counter-case against them.

Nobody has the time or interest for that, and if you try it on a media panel discussion, you will get slapped down with standard TP talking points before you can finish your second sentence…
