Spent this morning (my time) catching up on the threads. The comment about the crowd razzing the Native American teen prompted me to do some googling on her.

Isabella Aiukli Cornell is 14, and is an aspiring model and activist. She’s met with the US Secretary of Education, been part of the White House initiative for Native American education and hosts an Native American-centered Internet radio program. Her middle name is Choctaw for “beautiful.”

I suspect we’re going to hear more about this girl as time goes on.
