It was 20 degrees when the parade kicked off. That breaks the record of 21 set in 1930.
That said, it’s just a disingenuous claim to ignore global warming.
That upside-down-omega loop of arctic air over North America gets bigger and bigger and goes farther and farther south as more energy is added to the circulation by global warming. What’s going to happen when it pinches off? I don’t know, but it won’t be good, I’m willing to bet.
