That is not the definition of Fudd that I see daily in the gun community. Fudd is, to the gun humpers, a person who likes old fashioned weapons, has a small number of weapons, doesn’t like Ebil Black Rifles and doesn’t believe that all gun owners should be right wing nutjobs ready to fight ACW Mk II at the order of Faux News.

Fudd is essentially an insult for normal gun owners. I have been called that often even at the Liberal Gun Club.
