Show me where and how we are Bailing out Greece?

Hi Thanos! Sigh, color me confused. Here’s an article that talks about the IMF, the U.S. percentages, and so on. But, it appears to be a pretty complicated method IMF uses to calculate which “dollars” are considered usable and which are not.

In either case, it looks like the U.S. contribution (since we’re considered “usable”) is pretty small compared to the euro-zone countries.

Heh, wish I understood it all a little better, but it would seem we’re not bailing Greece out, just contributing a bit through IMF lending decisions. In any case, this appears to be the key:

Will the money be wasted? That depends on whether the Greek electorate swallows the cuts in salary and pensions required by the IMF and the country’s European partners and whether a new economic strategy boosts Greece’s competitive position.

I hope Greece can turn itself around!
