I’m perfectly willing to say that there are some people in the radical ‘left’, in ELF and the rest, who push violent ecoterrorism, and I feel they bear some responsibility for this kind of crap.

However, those groups do not find any home in the mainstream left. Nobody speaks up for them, nobody defends their insane actions. They are on the outside, looking in.

Plenty of mainstream folks push zero population growth and the evils of mans footprint on the earth. Anyone who deals with political rhetoric must deal with the possibility that someone less balanced than they are will take their words and run in a very dark direction with them.

Comparing which political identity is more or less pure in its actions or intent is a fools game. Insanity is insanity no matter who links to its facebook page.
