They’re already calling it a whitewash.

What’s interesting is that they have formulated their opinions purely on some theoretical speculation that the UHI effect would alter the temperature data analysis. They haven’t actually run numbers that show that to be the case. And when people do run the numbers, as was done before by NOAA and now by BEST, and actually show that the “bad” stations show more warming than the “good” stations, they simply won’t believe the results.

Data? I don’t need no stinking data!
