I believe he used the Olympics thing as a stone to get elected to governor in the first place. You know the only position he’s been elected to and all accomplishments he had there he now runs away from because he wants to look like a “real conservative” for the cool kids.

IOW, Romney’s political career was given a huge boost through sales taxes and Federal taxes and their support of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Had there been no funding we’d likely never have heard of Mitt Romney. Taxes made the man.
