Also, fun fact. Someone counted the number of times the Doctor says Clara in series 8. 150+ times

Equivalent to once every 4 minutes per episode.

Series 8 gave me every impression of a very long and very bad breakup. I know you’re partial to Clara, but I would have been happy to see the last of her after the series 8 finale.
