Its not posting on a blog obviously, its confusing ‘niceness’ with ‘civility’, and its this ‘damn kids’ attitude people get.

Its like there was that callback to a thread last night (when I was at work) and I saw it. I enjoy WindUpBirds post, and the whole ‘I don’t get you’re humor, you’re evil!’ vibe on a poster I enjoy kinda got to me. Theres a definite generation gap on this blog, and altho’ its usually interesting, today its just kinda annoying.

the ‘non-internet’ thing is a little harder to explain. Essentially I’m talking about the odd thin-skinnedness of people here. LGF is well-moderated and the usual trolling and such that goes on is kept out. It makes it enjoyable, instead of awful. That being said, people… I dunno, maybe I should withdraw that part. Its a strange feeling that I can’t define well.

PS: Thats lame sauce. I know its done all the time, but being here a long time (one might say… old :p) doesn’t make you right. Newer people (such as myself) have to adapt to the culture, certainly but our newness isn’t a get-out-of-jail free card for anyone whose just been posting here since 2004.
