There is one huge problem with AGW I haven’t heard how they(scientists) are gonna convince all the folks in the 3rd world to stop burning down forests for charcoal and farm land when those folks are trying to feed their families. The US, EU, China, India, Russia, Japan, some of South America and Africa you may get to help, but there are still billions of people you have to convince to change their ways to make any impact at all. China and India burn way more coal than us and have an exploding middle class, they have to have electricity.

The inability of others to act makes for a poor excuse for our own apathy/inaction towards a problem.
