Exactly. It’s like a gold bug showing up in front of me after TEOTWAWKI and wanting to buy food with gold. All he’s going to get from me is to be told to eat his gold.

Goldbugs and Bitcoin-bugs have this fantasy that somehow civilized and orderly commerce will survive the end of civilization. Canned goods and fresh drinking water will be the currency of the day, not gold or Bitcoins.
