Slasher’s statement reminds me of comments in one of the tweets from one of the MSD students the other day. The student said they were going to need to fix things the Boomers had messed up, which started the usual “not all Boomers” line from people. But, here’s the thing: The modern NRA belongs to the Boomers. The modern evangelical movement belongs to the Boomers. It could be argued that both of those started before the Boomers but that generation isn’t in control any more.

And, just to be fair, as a Gen-Xer, my generation hasn’t done any better.

Generations are not monolithic. Nor are they rigidly defined by birthdates.
