Have you tried a virtual windows installation under Linux?

I’ve had great success with Virtual Box on my laptop running Mint Linux.

as i said, i tried Wine

most tax, especially professional preparer programs are quite intricate.

2 factor authorizations and a lot of other comms for efiling, software updates and importing client data

i think they’re all too complicated for an emulator
not even turbotax works on linux

the best solution for me would be web based. chrome on linux. done.

alas, all the sites that can handle fiduciary, not-for-profit and estates think too much of themselves and are way over priced for the volume we have.

so it’s windows 10, on a laptop, with occasional grumbling
