I’m now remembering that night and “horrified” doesn’t even come close to my reaction.

We really do have political factions that are literally incomprehensible to each other. For Palin-faction wingnuts, Palin’s RNC speech is the Bible and Constitution all wrapped up in one shiny package, you betcha.
