NPR was reporting today on the expansion of middle class Chinese tourists dollars$ and their traveling . Quite a bit of $.

Oh, no doubt. Their travels have also sparked complaints about their poor manners and crappy behavior.

For example, one lady on an airplane refused to close the latrine door while she was using it. A mother let her toddler pee in the aisle on a plane. Another let her kid take a crap on the sidewalk in Hong Kong. A Thai blogger bitched online about a group of Chinese tourists who jumped the queue for tickets.

That being said, I have not witnessed such horrible examples in my travels, but it is a fair criticism that some of China’s nouveau riche are still country bumpkins in many ways.
