Ari’s panel is thinking Trump saying he will testify under oath is a PR move. Mueller doesn’t need him to be under oath as lying to the FBI is criminal without oath.

Getting him under oath is a bonus, but lying to the FBI is a crime even without the oath.

But if he had competent lawyers, they’ll be demanding he cite the 5th. He wont, because he’s too vain and ego-driven to do that, and it puts him in legal jeopardy.

He is literally his own legal team’s worst nightmare, and everyone knows it. That’s why all his right wing cronies are doing everything imaginable to try and derail the investigation now, before Trump speaks, because it will not end will for any of his admin once he does.
