Not intending to disparage your region, but the panhandle of Nebraska is not really a draw.
It’s going to be hard to make up for those lost jobs.
If America, and Nebraskans, had a more pro-active and positive view of government, there are probably many activities that could be performed quite well in the region, and a few tens of millions of tax dollars dropped in to stimulate change might do great things.
But that’s not how things are done in 2018, unless you are already a billionaire and can buy a Congressman to be pro-active on your account.
Well, it’s still cheap to live here, and there are lots more cattle than people, if that matters.
