Hey Avanti, wanted to ask you a question. I know you know a lot about used cars so here goes. I am trying to “cash - in” on the CFC program. I have a 2006 Maxima (loaded) with about 30k miles on it and a 2008 Quest (also loaded) with under 12k miles on it. Which one do you think I should trade in so I can get my fair share of the “free gubmint shit”?

Neither, they both are worth more then the rebate and may not qualify as low enough MPG. My old 15 MPG pickup was worth way less, and I stepped up to a 30 MPG new car. BTW, now you can order a new car from the factory and still get the rebate since the dealers are running out of cars. Ford is paying overtime and Chrysler is working a third shift to restock.
