Referring to your previous post (130), the paragraph I highlighted in my 137 includes the words “may”, “seems”, and “if”. When making a scientific argument, I might suggest that it is best not to use those words.

But hey, I could be wrong! We could base environmental and energy policy on may, seem, and if! That would be outstanding! We’ll just wing it!
