From a strictly secular perspective:

The ancient god of the Jews, later to be adopted/stolen by the heretical sect known as Christians, was a mountain god I think. Whereas the single deity acknowledged by the Muslims was supposedly a moon god. Now, I vaguely recall reading that the mountain god was ancestral but I don’t know if the same can be said of the moon god. So, in that regard, the two deities are different.If we’re gonna split hairs.

Eh, once you get to monotheism, there you are.

El, Elohim, Allah, basically this guy’s job title is just “God”, and we’re all gonna have to deal with it.
