worst americans EVER? So worse than Jefferson Davis? Worse that Lindberg? Worse than some guy who sold guns to the Germans in WWI? Worse than the Hillside Strangler? Come on, I have no love of Mr Carter, but he’s not even in the same game —- not even worse than Sam Yorty (Mayor of Los Angeles in the 1960’s).

I think LBJ would be proud of himself for being on the wingnut’s list, and annoyed he was not in the #1 spot.

Jimmy Carter wouldn’t even be close to my top 25 list of the worst Americans ever, but he was pretty bad. I was reminded how bad yesterday when I saw the US National gymnastics camp competition on TV, and they had a segment on Carter’s boycott of the Olympics — one of the stupidest empty gestures ever undertaken by a politician, that served only to wreck the hopes of many American athletes.
