IRS —now, there is a word (well initials) that can produce fear.

MARINES —that produces awe.

One of the “debt resolution” services runs a radio ad that says the three most feared initials in America are I-R-S. I contend that P-M-S is the most fearsome.

MARINES—No kidding. I never argue with a Marine, no matter how long it’s been since he or she was on active service. I would much prefer to die of natural causes years and years down the road.
