As for Obama’s “fully automatic” statement, he may have misspoken there. Technically that AR15 was not “fully automatic,” because you had to squeeze the trigger for every shot.

But with the extended magazines, Lanza was able to fire more than 100 rounds in less than 5 minutes. That may not fit the technical hair-splitting definition, but in actuality, the line between “fully” and “semi” automatic is not as sharply defined as the pro-gun lobby would have it.

The gun lobby is making it a matter of morality that each and every american doesn’t know the difference.
