It’s a logical fallacy to question the timing. You would think it’s easier to pull teeth from a crocodile than to get some people to admit there are still racists in this country. It’s not some elaborate scheme. There really are still racist elements in this country, and yes- people on all sides play them for profit. Denying it isn’t going to help stop it.

I’m only speaking for myself here, but, I don’t disagree that there are racist people and organizations in our society. The problem that I have is that you reach a point where it seems that Everything is viewed through a racist lens. It’s not so much that there are no racists left, it’s that when you scream racist at anyone who disagrees, the word loses meaning. I, personally, feel that the charge has been leveled so often, when it doesn’t apply, that I don’t pay it any attention anymore.
