That is correct, however, I think you misjudge the level of support and indoctrination of the Palestinians. Hamas has vastly more open and strong support than you seem to be comfortable acknowledging.

Many good and reasonable people - like you, and I honestly do think that you are an educated and reasonable person - have a very hard time accepting just how backwards, evil and sociopathic Palistinian “culture” is.

What I just wrote may seem at first to be the height of prejudice. It may infuriate some to say such things. Yet, let’s look at that honestly.

This is culture where it is *normal* for a brother or a father to brutally murder a sister or a daughter for a supposed slight on their honor, should she date the wrong person, dress the wrong way, or simply talk to the wrong man.

This is a culture where mothers pray not for the lives of their children, but that they die killing others.

This is a culture where homosexuals are hunted down and brutally, publicly killed.

This is a culture where attacking a bus of women and children is called a “battle” and the deaths of innocents are called victories. Sweets are passed about to celebrate.

Amongst the Palestinians, there are some good people who I am certain wish with all of their hearts that the world around them was not as crazy as it is. I feel deeply sorry for them. They are also not the majority. The majority truly are barbarians. The sooner that people stop being PC and look at the actual facts; the endless murders of not just Jews but of Arab upon Arab violence, day in day out, the rampant illiteracy, the insane religious zealotry, the hateful and shrill cries to destruction, the sooner people will have a chance to actually address the realities of the situation.

These are not people who are currently in a place where peace is even desired. That is simply the unfortunate truth. As long as that obtains, it is unfair and unjust to expect Israel to bend anymore than it has.
