We have a phenomenon that’s called “pipe hammering”. You plumber peoples will know about this, I’m sure.

I’m also guessing that’s why people think their homes are haunted. It sounds like groaning under the house. When our plumber came, he said there was nothing problematic with pipe hammering (air moving through the pipes in old homes), but did you know your septic is overflowing? $500 later, we have a clean septic, but the pipes are still making noise.

Last weekend, the groaning was replaced by a rattling coming form the bathroom that was so loud, you could see the pipes actually shaking. Internet to the Rescue! We cut off the water main and opened two faucets to let the air out. Fixed it like a charm.

Even houses have gas attacks.
