I’m asking the guy who’s apparently saying that there’s something we should be doing, but can’t actually say what it is.

Saying “They need to do better” is not an actual criticism. Reality intrudes. It’d be great if we could ‘put pressure’ on Turkey and avert what looks like might be its slippage into a more hardline Islamic state. But how? These are not simple things, they do not have simple answers, and the threat of force is not a panacea for all.
