So I see up thread Trump is taking over the entire RNC for his campaign.

I sure hope that is a complete disaster and starts the take down of the whole Republican party.

The Republicans seem to only be into it for the rich boomers to get as much as they can out of the system before they pass on. Set their families up with big estates and then die off. No need for the former Grand Old Party after they are dead.

I just wonder what the younger water carries like say a Matt Gaetz will do when faced with a party no one will want in the future?

Maybe they are getting paid enough now to pad them over in the future and it will be all over for them too.

I think some people who have said they want to create a sort of Apartheid like state have it right. They know the country is changing and their answer isn’t to embrace it or not be bigoted assholes but to increase their own power while weakening Dems i.e. what we saw in Wisconsin.If a Republican governor is elected in Wisconsin again, they will give him back the power Walker had and more. Just as they will complain about any use of executive power by the new Dem governors.
