A comment in a discussion of the Texas woman who got a ticket driving in an HOV-2 lane saying the ticket should be thrown out (she’s not going to win: This case has already been fought in federal court, and HOV permission is defined by how many seats in a vehicle are occupied):

So if a fetus is not a person when in a high occupancy vehicle lane, could not an enterprising provider set up a clinic in a panel van and provide mobile abortion services (in the HOV lane)?

Funny, but unfortunately anti-abortion laws don’t depend on the fetus being classified as a person. However, the plan to put an abortion clinic in the Gulf of Mexico outside of state borders is promising.
