I think you’re right; as always, there’s two kinds of racism, the hard-ass “Witch doctor” kind of racism we saw from the tea party guy who was sending those pictures around, and the soft kind of racism that involves not being able to figure out that trying to claim Obama was born in Kenya when there is zero evidence for it and a mountain against it has a distinct racist overtone to it. Or not caring that it does. The kind of racism where you can be at a protest with clearly racist signs and not leave or as those people to leave.
