I am coming in late so sorry if it has been mentioned already, but when I hear about this Quran burning stuff I can’t help but think that I wouldn’t want to be serving in someplace like Afghanistan & have to deal with the fall out, if you know what I mean.

General Petraeus said much the same thing today (“unhelpful” was his mild term), causing lots of armchair soldiers on Weaselzippers & other hate sites to jump about shrieking “Go on, burn those Korans! Just let them [bigoted word]s try anything with me! I’ve got a great big gun in my closet!”
