I remember attending a baby swimming class. Part of the course involved holding the kid’s head briefly under water. I recall a mother who could just not bring herself to do that, even though it was an important step towards teaching a child how to swim.

I realize that those must be some of the same mothers who cannot bring themselves to have their child vaccinated, even though it is vital to their own child’s safety along with that of others.
