Tonight is a feast.
Cornish game hens on sale.
Going back to my old school gourmet (I used to cook a LOT………no mas)
Crabmeat stuffing. Making gravy via roux.
Oooh, I love Cornish hens. (We ate them when I was a kid because they were really cheap.) The crab meat stuffing sounds particularly good. (And far too expensive here.)
Turns out they’re still not expensive and Safeway will deliver them to your door frozen (not here of course).
