The disinformation ain’t working now, if it ever worked. It sounds increasingly like he has no way out of his own mess now, but just to stall, stall, stall.

I’ve been saying that for a while now. He’s gone to the well way too many times.

The Law of Diminishing Returns is doing its thing, and as a result he has to counter with more hysterical statements. And the more he does that, the more people tune him out.
