Hopefully not against turkey. But we need to do a better job of sorting out friends from enemies and act accordingly.

It’s not a with us/against us world out there.

There are so many shades of grey that it’s untrue. Treating people who are playing both sides against the middle as “the enemy” willl only mean they stop playing our side against the middle.

And Turkey has a fierce secular tradition and an army that will hold to those values if the religious class gets too powerful.
