We paid a half day’s pay for my 4 yr old son’s first Speedo—about it’s weight in gold. The first time we washed it, it went through the machine and lodged in the drainpipe.

I was on a gymnastics team as a kid. The uniforms killed my single Mom’s budget. One was this really fancy white leotard. Completely see-through. A very expensive fail.
