The olive oil is a nice touch (a reminder that some of the properly blessed version featured in the Original Hanukkah): but what do you use for a wick?

My own “old family menorah” - stuck somewhere in storage since my mother passed in 1999 - had nine little silver cups with holed covers, obviously for a wick. The olive oil I would use (and is EVOO better? Israeli oil?), but I can’t figure out what to use as a wick. Help me, Vicious Babushka, you’re my only hope!!
