If you have only one or two holdouts then a retrial makes sense. If you’ve lost the clear majority of the jurors in a non violent case and decide to do it all over again then you’re just a massive fucking asshole.

The really crazy thing about the government retrying Scott Warren is that the first hung jury vote broke 8 to 4 against convicting. Meaning Bill Barr’s DOJ was given a harsh reality check that their case sucked ass yet decided to try it again anyway.
