I hope teachers are prepared to deal with this when school starts back up, because you know kids are bound to bring the nastiness they hear from their parents to school.

It’s going to suck to be a Muslim kid in public school this fall. It won’t be so bad for the kids that go to Islamic schools, but there aren’t all that many of them and they’ll probably need to hire extra security just to be on the safe side.

The mosque across the street from where I teach is a Sufi mosque as well. I’ll have to pop over and ask them what they think of all this and whether it’s made their life more difficult.
