Yeah, I mean, refusing to release videos isn’t something that would be good.

There’s a common misconception that cops aren’t allowed to release information before a trial so as not to prejudice it. It’s untrue. They’re not allowed to make personal comments, like saying that the guy they’re charging is an asshole, but they can certainly say they feel they have a strong case, point to the evidence, etc.

The judge will instruct the jury to ignore pre-trial publicity, and the lawyers can eject jurors if they show bias.
