no that’s not how it works. Shooter knows people are armed and does not go to theater.

Let the Free Market decide: If you feel safer in a theater knowing that there are armed people next to you ready to protect your life and safety by blazing away at an assailant in the dark, then go to a weapons-friendly theater and ask to be seated next to a Good Guy With a Gun.
