When did this gun free zone bullshit start? I don’t remember anyone calling Columbine or Virginia Tech a gun free zone.

It’s come in in the last couple of years - round about the time of Sandy Hook, actually, if I think about it. That’s when it started looking really grim for the gun-fuckers, so the NRA started putting out talking points about “gun-free zones” and it took off from there.
