Except in this case, it is directly material to the case (or lack thereof)… Phrase it this way: The defense attorney is banging a witness for the defense. That’s a lot more damning than, “Two of the prosecutors are banging each other.”

Especially since they’re coordinating with each other to come up with dirt to disqualify the prosecutors.
